WHO Advisory Group for Global Adolescent Health Metrics

Jo Inchley has joined the World Health Organization (WHO) Advisory Group for Global Adolescent Health Metrics. She attended the first meeting in Geneva and presented insights from the HBSC study which now covers 49 countries across Europe and North America. The Advisory Group for Global Adolescent Health Metrics will provide advice to WHO on global indicators for adolescent health, including identifying measurement gaps, prioritising indicators, providing guidance for countries on monitoring adolescent health, and developing an evidence base to support health actions.


Established in 2000, CAHRU is dedicated to improving understanding of child and adolescent health in Scotland.
